04. 02. 2013. - Contract in Albania worth 30.5 million euros

Energoinvest - Sarajevo has officially signed a contract for the construction of 250 kilometers of 110kV transmission line and the reconstruction and expansion of five substation facilities of 110 kV voltage level, southern Albania / Lot 2, with the Electric Power Transmission Company of Albania (OST Albania) on 31 January 2013 in Tirana. In addition to the representatives of our company, the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Nermin Niksic, and the Federal Minister of Transport and Communications, Mr. Enver Bijedic, also attended the signing of the contract.
The value of the contract amounts to 30.5 million euros. This is a turn-key project, which means that the Energinvest is responsible for the design, type testing, equipment procurement, construction and commissioning of transmission lines and substations. The project is financed by the German Development Bank KfW, while the implementation deadline is 30 months.
It is important to emphasize that the Energoinvest won this contract in a very tough global competition, and that the implementation of this project, in an already difficult market situation, will be a great developmental factor both to our company and to BiH as a whole. In addition to the project in Albania, the Energoinvest plans this year to implement large projects in Algeria, Iraq, Ethiopia, Slovakia, etc., and shows that, despite the economic crisis, can be a driver of economic development and the company that remains true to its name and reputation acquired over 60 years around the world.
